You might encounter the following errors while importing your chart of accounts into QuickBooks:

The following accounts could not be imported because they're duplicates. |
Account numbers and account names must be unique. QuickBooks has found numbers or names in your imported chart of accounts that are the same as in accounts that already exist in your Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks. |
Review the account number or name in the highlighted field. If it is different than the one that already exists, change it to something unique (for example, change "Sales" to "Sales - Hardware"). If the number or name is the same and you don't want to import the record, clear the checkbox at the left of its row. Then click Import. |
