Balance sheet accounts

Balance sheet accounts are accounts that appear on a balance sheet report. In QuickBooks, these include the following types of accounts:

• Cash at bank and in hand
• Debtors
• Creditors
• Tangible asset, Non-current asset, Current asset
• Current liability, Non-Current liability
• Card
• Equity

Each balance sheet account in QuickBooks has its own account history that tracks the balance of the account. You can also see account balances on your chart of accounts.
