Edit bank account sign-in information
If the information you use to sign in to your bank's website changes, you'll need to make the same changes in QuickBooks to continue to get updates.

In the navigation bar, click Transactions > Banking (or Banking > Bank Feeds depending on what you see).
- At the top of the page, select the account you want to change and click the edit icon.
- Click Edit sign-in info.
- Enter the user ID and password you use to sign in at your bank.
- Click Update sign-in info.
Other information you can see or change about your account
When you click the edit icon, you select whether to edit your sign-in information or your details about the account. When you edit your account, you can change:
- The category account type
- The detail account type
- The account name and description
- Whether the account is a sub-account or not
- Whether to disconnect the account on save
